Reading and Discussion of Gita
Tuesdays, 7:15 - 8:45 PM
Gita is studied methodically. The format is chanting of a shloka (verse) followed by literal translation and then discussion. Following each chapter, summary discussions are held.

Following Gita, Vedantic scriptures are discussed. Books discussed in recent months have been: Vivekachudamani (Shankaracharya), Isha Upanishad, Katha Upanishad, Karmayoga (Swami Vivekananda), Narada Bhakti Sutras, and Meditation (Swami Bhaskarananda). Currently, the lives of the direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna are being discussed.

Vedanta Discussion Group in English
First and Third Saturdays, 3:30 - 5:00 PM
The session starts with guided meditation. Techniques described in Raja Yoga (by Swami Vivekananda) are followed.
Currently, Swami Vivekananda's Jnana Yoga is being studied. This series of very enlightening lectures by Swamiji, delivered in London in October and November 1895, explains the basis of Vedanta, including the nature of Atman and Maya.

Pathhachakra: Vedanta Discussion Group for Children (in English)
First and Third Sundays, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
The session starts with guided meditation.
Following meditation, children read and discuss "Hinduism at a Glance" and other books on Vedanta, depending on their age. Lives of holy persons are discussed. Parents (and other adults) are most welcome.

Vedanta Discussion Group in Bangla
Second Sunday, 3:30 - 5:00 PM
